What is PCOS?
PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome, is a hormonal and metabolic condition that affects how your ovaries and body function. Instead of being caused by one single issue, PCOS is a combination of hormone imbalances, insulin resistance, and inflammation that can impact your cycles, metabolism, skin, digestion, and fertility.

With PCOS, your body may produce more androgens (often called “male hormones”), which can lead to symptoms like irregular periods, acne, or unwanted hair growth. Many women also experience challenges with blood sugar regulation, which can affect energy, appetite, and weight changes.
